We’re looking for an Unity Game Developer to join our Portfolio Product Unit; focused on operating and improving key live game titles through bold experimentation, fast iteration, and high-impact player experiences.

What will you be doing at Miniclip?
As an Unity Game Developer, you’ll contribute to live mobile games played by millions of users worldwide, helping shape the technical direction of the team while building reliable, scalable, and performant game systems.
You’ll play a key role in driving experimentation, mentoring developers, and improving engineering practices that support rapid iteration and long-term maintainability
- Design, implement, and evolve client-side systems, gameplay features, and UI components using Unity.
- Drive experiments end-to-end by translating hypotheses into testable implementations and shipping them quickly to production.
- Integrate frontend logic with APIs, backend services, and experimentation platforms while ensuring robustness and scalability.
- Shape technical direction and proactively contribute to architectural and implementation decisions.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, feature flags, release management, and live operations processes.
- Contribute to code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration practices to maintain high engineering standards.
- Optimize game performance to ensure smooth rendering, responsiveness, and low-latency interactions across a wide range of mobile devices.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to align on priorities, player impact, and technical trade-offs.
- Mentor and support other developers, helping grow team autonomy and engineering craft.
- Contribute to internal tools, workflows, documentation, and developer experience improvements.
- Participate in monitoring, incident analysis, and post-mortems to continuously improve system reliability and team effectiveness.
- Go beyond core responsibilities when needed to remove blockers and help the team move faster together.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Unity.
- 3+ years of experience building and releasing mobile games.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, engineering best practices, and design patterns.
- Experience working in fast-paced, experimental, Agile environments.
- Solid understanding of live-ops and experimentation best practices.
- Experience mentoring or coaching developers within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong understanding of performance optimization and scalable client-side development.
- Comfortable with iteration, experimentation, and data-informed decision-making.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and planning skills.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Passion for creating great games and continuously improving both product and engineering quality.
- Deep understanding of multi-threaded systems to ensure high-performance execution across 2D and 3D games; solid hands-on experience with Unity’s Job System and Burst Compiler.
- Knowledge or experience in Data-Oriented Programming and ECS architectures.
- Experience in shader programming and visual optimization using Shader Graph and HLSL.
- Experience operating live mobile games at scale.
- Experience with experimentation platforms, feature flagging, and A/B testing frameworks.
- Consistent delivery of high-quality experiments and features to production.
- Measurable improvements across portfolio KPIs such as engagement, retention, and monetization.
- Reliable, performant, and maintainable game systems that scale effectively with live operations.
- Improved engineering quality, team autonomy, and technical decision-making across the team.
