Miniclip is looking for a QA Tester to join our Genoa (Italy) Games Development Studio. This is a full-time position; please apply only if you have the right to work in Italy.
You will join a dedicated QA team working on live mobile games played by millions of people worldwide. Collaborating closely with developers, producers and artists, you will help shape the quality of new features, live events and updates that reach our players.

 

What will you be doing at Miniclip?

 

  • Perform functional, regression and exploratory testing of our games on iOS and Android, across different devices and OS versions.
  • Take ownership of QA activities for assigned features, live events and updates, from early development through release, defining coverage and maintaining test cases.
  • Identify, document and verify issues, providing clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
  • Work with the game team to clarify requirements, identify quality risks early and provide feedback on functionality and the player experience throughout development.
  • Contribute to issue triage and release readiness, communicating test results and quality risks.
  • Help improve testing processes and contribute to the studio’s QA automation efforts.

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • A strong interest in games and curiosity about how they work.
  • Understanding of software testing principles.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate issues clearly and write structured, reproducible bug reports.
  • A responsible, organised and collaborative approach to work.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly, with an interest in technical skills and QA automation.
  • Good spoken and written English.

 

The following skills and qualifications are desirable
 
 
  • Previous experience testing games or mobile apps, particularly products with frequent live releases.
  • An academic or technical background in computer science, software development or a related field.
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Jira or other issue tracking tools, and TestRail or similar test management tools.
  • Experience with test automation, scripting or programming.
  • Knowledge of Unity and C#.
  • Familiarity with Apple App Store and Google Play submission and release processes. #LI-AC1
