Junior 3D Animation & Character Artist

Job Description

We're looking for a Junior 3D Character Artist to join our team and bring amazing characters to life for our mobile game! If you have a passion for sculpting, rigging, and optimizing models for mobile, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Miniclip is looking for a Junior 3D Character Artist to hire in our İzmir (Turkey) Masomo Gaming Studio. This position is on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

What will you be doing

• Character 3D modeling, sculpting & retopology to create optimized game-ready models
• Rigging & basic animation to bring characters to life
• UV unwrapping for efficient texturing and material setup

What are we looking for?

• Strong understanding of character modeling for mobile games
• Experience with 3D Modeling, sculpting, retopology, and optimization
• Knowledge of rigging and basic animation workflows
• Ability to UV unwrap models efficiently

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the gaming industry
• A degree in fine arts, visual arts or a comparable degree
• Ability to create production quality, stylised UI and game assets
• Experienced in 3D Modelling and ability to use one of Blender, 3Ds Max and Maya etc. in the best way possible
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite Software (Phosothop, Illustrator, etc.)
