Job Description

The Advertising Monetisation Manager will be responsible for defining, optimising and scaling advertising revenue strategies across Miniclip’s portfolio of games. Acting as a key point of contact for advertising monetisation, this role combines strategic contribution with hands-on execution across ad operations, analytics and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with Product, Game Design, User Acquisition, BI, Ad Tech and external partners to design, implement and continuously optimise monetisation strategies, ensuring best-in-class player experience while maximising revenue performance.

 

What will you be doing at Miniclip?

  • Manage and implement ad monetisation strategies across multiple titles, ad networks and demand partners.
  • Support and contribute to ad monetisation strategy for assigned games, aligning with overall studio and portfolio goals.
  • Design and optimise in-game ad placements, formats and user segmentation strategies to improve ARPDAU, eCPM, fill rate and overall LTV.
  • Develop and maintain ad operations processes, including mediation setups, waterfalls and network integrations.
  • Conduct performance analysis across key KPIs, identifying opportunities and supporting continuous improvement.
  • Run hypothesis-driven A/B tests in collaboration with Product and BI teams; analyse results, scale winners and iterate.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Game Design, Engineering, BI, QA and UA teams to deliver monetisation improvements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with ad network partners and account managers to maximise performance.
  • Support Ad Tech and Data requirements, including SDK integrations, tracking, dashboards and automation.
  • Monitor and manage ad creative quality across networks — reviewing served ads, handling player-reported ad issues, and using network-side blocking tools to maintain a high-quality user experience.
  • Contribute to documenting and sharing best practices and insights across teams.

 

What are we looking for?

  • 2–3 years of experience in advertising monetisation, ad operations or revenue-related roles, ideally within mobile gaming or digital products.
  • Good understanding of the ad tech ecosystem, including ad networks, mediation platforms, waterfalls and basic programmatic concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support data-driven decisions.
  • Exposure to A/B testing and working with product and data teams to support optimisation efforts.
  • Good cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Interest in mobile games and understanding of free-to-play models is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot) to speed up daily tasks — automating reports, summarizing data, drafting documents, prototyping scripts or queries, or supporting ad creative and quality review — is a plus.
