C++ Mobile Developer

Miniclip is looking for a C++ Software Developer to join one of our game development teams in our Lisbon studio, working on a hybrid model. You'll work on live mobile games played by millions of players, contributing to feature development, technical direction, and the ongoing evolution of products with a direct impact on the player experience.
What will you be doing at Miniclip?

Design, implement and deliver meta and gameplay features, taking them from concept to production on Android and iOS

Help shape the technical direction of the project by actively participating in architecture discussions and key decisions

Maintain and evolve an established codebase, improving its technical quality and managing risk across multiple development areas

Build and evolve lightweight tools and workflows that support the development cycle and live operations

Collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds (Product, Game Design, Art, Marketing) and challenge ideas constructively to improve outcomes

Proactively identify and remove impediments, supporting the team in delivering more effectively over time
What are we looking for?
We're looking for a collaborative, proactive, and hands-on developer who knows how to work on live games - knowing when to be surgical and precise, and when to start fresh. Someone who brings ideas, challenges assumptions, and takes shared ownership of outcomes.

2+ years of professional mobile game development experience

Strong C++ knowledge and the ability to write maintainable, scalable code

Good understanding of software design patterns and development principles

Ability to work within an established codebase, understanding risk and balancing quality with delivery

Strong communication skills (English), collaboration and time-management abilities

Eager to learn and adapt, with a genuine sense of curiosity and critical thinking
The following are desirable but not essential - if you have them, mention them:

Experience with Objective-C, TypeScript, Python or Lua

Experience with CI/CD frameworks

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Experience developing multiplayer games
