Senior IT Support Technician

Job Description

Miniclip is looking for a Senior IT Support Technician to hire in our Lisbon (PT) Office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the best game companies in the world! With over 400 million game players each month, Miniclip reaches users across online, mobile, and social platforms.

What will you be doing at Miniclip?

Although not limited to, your primary responsibilities will include:

Technical Support: 

• Serve as primary point of contact for Miniclip users reporting issues.
• Research and identify solutions to software, hardware, and basic networking issues.
• Document technical knowledge and implemented solutions in the form of technical notes and manuals.
• Configure and install computers on multiple OS (MacOS, Windows, Linux).
• Collaborate with other IT teams to implement and optimize IT solutions.
• Maintain the existing IT infrastructure and the commonly used applications (local and cloud).
• Assist users with troubleshooting of computer related issues via e-mail, phone, chat remotely or in presence to all offices.
• Ensure all issues are properly logged by using Miniclip’s internal ticketing system.
• Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software, and resources.
• Work collaboratively with other IT Support Technicians and team members.
• Collaborate with various departments, including Finance, HR, and Legal, to understand their technology needs and provide effective support.

Project Management: 

• Actively participate in IT projects, providing support and contributing to project success.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure project milestones are met.

We are looking for a skilled communicator with a good technical background that will demonstrate good social skills in a professional environment. The IT Support Technician needs to be someone that enjoys working in a team, is passionate and dedicated about their work and demonstrates the willingness to evolve and contributes to provide new solutions and/or improves the current solutions in place. 

The ideal candidate will be skilled in the following:

• Computer hardware, systems and software.Basic understanding of project management methodologies.
• Troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts.
•  Write and speak English fluently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
