Senior Publishing QA Tester

Job Description

As a Senior QA, you will lead quality assurance efforts across our products, with a focus on data quality, compliance validation, technical integrations, and release readiness . You’ll move beyond test execution to shape QA strategy, optimize testing processes, and drive cross-team collaboration. Your work ensures not only that the game functions, but also that it adheres to compliance standards, maintains data accuracy, and delivers a seamless experience to players. 

What will you be doing at Miniclip?

• Own the QA strategy and oversight across projects, ensuring efficient, scalable testing processes.
• Plan, monitor, and continuously improve QA workflows and methodologies.
• Oversee technical integration validation , including Goliath (analytics), Libra (A/B tests), Dynamo (trial segmentation), AppsFlyer (UA tracking), and ad tech systems.
• Lead compliance validation , ensuring adherence to privacy, consent, data deletion, and user-generated content policies.
• Guarantee long-term data quality assurance across analytics and UA tracking tools.
• Evaluate release readiness by conducting pre-release assessments, risk evaluations, and providing final QA sign-off.
• Assess core gameplay functionality (IAPs, login, live ads, stability) to ensure reliable player experience.
• Act as a liaison between external development teams, product manager, outsourced testing services and all internal teams involved in the release of a product.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, CRM, and product teams to align on quality standards and risks. 
• Collaborate with the Data Analytic and Product Operations team to guarantee the correct implementation of all SDK integrations.
• Provide feedback on product/game design , influencing improvements and player-facing features.
• Mentor junior QA testers and support their professional growth.

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience (2-5 years) in game QA or software QA with increasing responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of QA strategy, release processes, and risk assessment.
• Hands-on experience with compliance frameworks , data validation, and analytics tools.
• Proficiency with bug-tracking and test management tools (Trello, JIRA).
• Close attention to detail, and ability to clearly identify and articulate complex game development project issues.
• Self-motivated, with excellent organisational skills to ensure the correct project set-up and release planning.
• Analytical and development mindset, to be able to efficiently analyse and break down tech integration flows.
• Confident in exploring new approaches and in communicating with different teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of game engines (Unity/Unreal) and mobile development pipelines is highly desirable.
• Technical knowledge on a wide range of physical devices from different manufacturers (Apple, Samsung, etc.).
• Technical knowledge on different operating systems, such as: Apple Store, TestFlight, Google Play Console, Android Studio, Android Debug Bridge, etc.
• Experience in working with teams across different functions and geographical locations.
• Fluent in English.

Career Path The Senior QA role can grow into QA Lead, with ownership of QA teams, broader product oversight, and leadership responsibilities.
