We’re looking for a Unity Software Developer to join our Mobile Games Team; focused on building and enhancing engaging player experiences across our game portfolio.
You’ll combine your technical expertise with product-driven thinking to deliver high-quality features that elevate gameplay. You’ll work within a cross-functional team to design, implement, and release solutions that directly impact player engagement and business performance.
What will you be doing at Miniclip?
As a Unity Software Developer, you’ll contribute to games played by thousands of players daily, delivering reliable, scalable, and high-performance solutions. You’ll help bring player-facing features to life while ensuring smooth, responsive, and polished gameplay experiences.
You will:
- Design, implement, and maintain client-side features, UI components, and gameplay systems using Unity.
- Translate product requirements and design mockups into clean, maintainable, and performant code.
- Integrate frontend logic with APIs and backend services, ensuring robustness and scalability.
- Contribute to code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration practices to maintain high quality.
- Optimize performance to ensure smooth rendering and low-latency interactions on mobile devices.
- Support release processes, feature flags, and live operations, including monitoring and issue resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to align on scope, priorities, and player impact.
- Contribute to internal tools, workflows, and documentation to improve team efficiency and developer experience.
What are we looking for?
- 3–6 years of experience in game development, with at least 3 years working with Unity.
- Strong understanding of frontend and client-side development principles in game environments.
- Experience building and releasing mobile games.
- Solid engineering practices, including clean code, testing, and performance optimization.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, cross-functional team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a proactive mindset.
Nice to have:
- Experience with mobile game development at scale.
- Experience with Cocos game engine.
- Knowledge of C++ and/or TypeScript.
