As an Advertising Monetisation Manager you will be the go to person and represent the advertising team for all advertising monetisation aspects for external acquired studios. The role comes in two parts. One: You will be responsible for supporting portfolio studios with their advertising monetisation strategy as well as design, execute and optimise in-game formats and placements to improve overall ad ARPDAU. Two: You will take the role of a consultant for studios that already have existing ad monetisation resource and guide them towards achieving the same goal. You will share you knowledge and experience across the studios to help drive better advertising decisions. 

The ideal candidate must be able to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders across the business, both internally and externally across other studios, to drive world-class monetisation strategies. We’re looking for someone that feels comfortable working in a lightning-fast paced environment while taking on multiple projects and adapting to the changing needs of our games, players and business opportunities as they arise.

What will you be doing at Miniclip?

  • Design and develop, together with Product and Game Design across our portfolio studios, a world-class gameplay experience based on a deep understanding of advertising monetisation, game metrics and KPI’s with the goal of improving overall monetisation;

  • Own the strategic planning for ad monetisation for all your products/studios. In some cases you may be required to work with BI teams (internal and external) to design and propose hypothesis-driven analyses and A/B tests that have a meaningful positive impact in the monetisation of your games. You will also support senior management with analyses and reports that guide decision making and company strategy;

  • Understand, plan and deliver the technological requirements needed to optimize advertising monetisation in-game. You’ll achieve this by working with Game Producers, Developers and QA teams to ensure they are effectively tested, implemented and released;

  • Build strong advertising industry intelligence efforts and ensure monetisation best practices are documented and shared with the team and the wider business.

  • Support and manage Due Dilligence processes for new potential acquisitions. Conduct indepth product analysis as well manipulating ads monetisation data to identify Risks and Opportunities for games in question. Attention to detail is key here as you uncover all aspects of ad monetisation to drive key business decisions. Document and present all your findings to senior management and stakeholders across the business.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or similar;

  • 2+ years of proven experience in digital advertising and/or mobile advertising;

  • Ideally someone with ad operation/programmatic experience;

  • Experience in managing and delivering cross-functional projects;

  • Highly organized with exceptional time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once;

  • Experience in supporting decisions based on complex data analysis;

  • High attention to detail is a must. Meticulous and detailed as you will be manipulating a tonne of data to help drive your assumptions and hypotheses. 

  • Comprehensive understanding of ad technology and the advertising ecosystem;

  • Deep understanding of free-to-play game systems and economies is desirable;

  • Knowledgeable and passionate about the Mobile Games industry is desirable;

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;

  • Exceptional team player;
