Miniclip is looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join the team in our London (UK) Office. This is a temporary full time position, please apply only if you have the right to work in the UK.

Reporting to the General Counsel, the Senior Legal Counsel lawyer will be responsible for a broad corporate role as a trusted and key advisor on matters of key strategic and financial importance.  This is a highly visible role in a well-regarded legal team.  You would be responsible for mergers and acquisitions and other transactional work covering multiple jurisdictions. 

You will be an English-law qualified commercial lawyer with 5 to 10 years’ post-qualification experience, including management and training experience. This role will have two direct reports.

The work of the legal team is diverse; the team advises all business units on contractual and regulatory issues.  Our work covers corporate, commercial, compliance, intellectual property and data protection issues, amongst others.  Additionally, the team supports the work of the HR, advertising and finance functions. In addition to corporate work, your work may encompass giving support on general commercial matters.

This role will be ideal for a senior corporate lawyer looking to branch out, in-house, into a more business-focused role in a fast-moving and dynamic games company. You ideally have some prior in-house exposure, perhaps in the form of a client secondment.
